I was just reading about “Paint Tattooing” in the Chicago Home Improvement Examiner.
It said Paint Tattooing is a faux painting technique; an artful way to accent your decor. Tattooing uses a high quality stencil in a repeating pattern, to add a second color to a wall. … ???
I’ve never heard stenciling called by that name before. Maybe because Benjamin Moore just created it? They showed this room
and explained that it was created using a Benejamin Moore Wall Tattoo, a new generation, high quality stencil that they recently added to its product lineup. The “Portico” pattern Wall Tattoo, 22″x22″, can be purchased exclusively online, for $44.99 at Benjamin Moore’s website.
Here’s another one – Wall Juice. Ever heard of it? I hadn’t. Kindof like Wall Words, or In Your Own Words by Caromal Colours, but more than just words or phrases. Neat stuff, this place calls them Wall Tattoo Decals. Fun categories, with lots to pick from. The starting price is typically for a 24″x30″, then goes up depending on the size you order. You can choose the color of the decal as well. Fun estore to bookmark - you never know when you might need a Wall Tatoo!

LOVE WALLJUICE. Put it in my favs. Thought the ornamental and scroll categories were very cool.
I just got back from a class in Ft Lauderdale that goes by the same name but is far different in the application process where you can use your own digital photography or their copyright free images of old masters art work for murals.
Being a muralist myself I must say that the system is pretty convincing and convenient. I know it isnt a new concept but the pieces are actually made in Italy and the image itself is actually transferred to the wall itself in a much different way.
