If so, then silver leaf on glass won’t give you this look.

It can, however, give you a ‘mirrored’  look.  I used the Caromal Colours Gilding Leaf Kits on a cheap decorative  light which had a clear glass shade.  Here are close ups -  you can see for yourself what gold and silver leaf  (I used both)  would look like, applied on glass -

I wanted to see how it would work on this glass shade – and if it would look cool when it was lit.  It’s pretty cool – I used it here, as an accent light, when I had my display at the International Women’s Show -
