Are You Noticing Blue?

It seems I am seeing blue everywhere  – looks like I wasn’t paying attention when they were forecasting color trends -

From Pantone Color Institute-

Spring and summer naturally evoke feelings of
calm ocean waters and tranquil beach vacations
in cool, vibrant, tropical Turquoise. This soothing
hue from the blue-green family conjures feelings
of escape, especially when paired with Amparo
Blue
. With more warmth than the typical spring
navy, this particular shade of blue is extremely
appealing because of its brighter, more energetic
attitude.

Sherwin Williams STIR edition Talks Turquoise-

… Now the color turquoise is a mainstay of both interior decorating and fashion, even when it’s not a blazing-hot trend, as it is at the moment. Turquoise can enhance traditional Southwestern themes, or lend youthful, funky, soothing or refreshing details to a room, depending on the tint and companion colors used with it. The versatile blue-green hue pairs surprisingly well with many colors, with delightful results: Recently, designs are popping up using turquoise in combination with lime green, purple and chocolate brown, to name just a few.
