Jackie walks in yesterday with books – Caromal Colours painted books!
I love this woman, she is a painting dynamo – the kind of client that comes in Thursday looking to paint bedroom furniture, then is back Friday with completed photos of a fully painted bedroom suite!
She’s took the Caromal Cabinet and Furniture workshop and initially found the textured basecoat awkward to paint with – she wasn’t used to it’s thickness.
She purchased some Pumpkin and Toner and used it to paint her son’s bedroom furniture. She still owes me the photos, so I can share, but I saw it and it turned out cool.
She came back yesterday with these books she’d painted with left over Pumpkin Textured Basecoat. The blue one is unpainted, to show the before

She let me keep these- I squealed in delight at her clever idea – old books are so easy to come by – and these looks SOOOOOOOOO cool painted, texturized, toned….
Her plan is to stencil a few, then use them to prop and display other items in her house…. LOVE IT! Thanks for the idea Jackie!
