How much fun will this be? I am going to be teaching two workshops at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial! I just secured the dates this week –
Thursday September 24th, from 7:00pm – 9:00pm I will be hosting a Gilding Pumpkins and Leaves Workshop – perfect for Fall Decorating!
Aren’t these pumpkins wonderful? Could do real but we will work on resin pumpkins-
and we’ll gild some leaves. Check this festively decorated chandelier – leaves, gilded on one side, and strung from the fixture – added into the mix of smaller gilded decorative pumpkins. Clever. Affordable. Fun!
Thursday November 5th, from 7:00pm – 9:00pm I will be hosting a Cabinet and Furniture Refinishing Workshop – featuring Caromal Colours Textured Basecoats.
Older oak cabinets? Give them a nice affordable facelift –
lighter or darker finishes, depending on how much Toner you leave on… it’s all up to you.
Use two colors, with chipping cream in between, and create your own finish for furniture, accessories –
or a cool run of crown moulding. The choices are endless –
If you are an East Sider and have been looking to take a workshop, this is your opportunity. Community calendars will be mailed out to all Grosse Pointe and Harper Woods residents in the next couple of weeks – or look for more information on the GPWM website .
Still unsure? Look for me, the end of August, on local Grosse Pointe and Harper Woods cable channels – I will be doing an informal interview with the Grosse Pointe War Memorial 🙂
