A Virginia Kitchen Gets Caromaled In Parchment

I stumbled on Heather’s blog ,  a Virginia Home, a young blog about cooking, design, and living smartly.  I was drawn to this post, over the summer, where she gives the play by play of using Caromal Colours Distressing products to update her oak kitchen cabinets –

Before

Notice she didn’t even remove the doors (neither do I!) –

After first coat

She used Parchment colored Texture Basecoat on the main cabinets, and Mustard colored Texture Basecoat on the island.  Love the island accent color, and the new hardware –

What a transformation Heather,  for under $200.  Wow!   Head here to read her whole story and to see more of her process and lovely home.
