Ready To Try Caromal Colours – What Do I Do Next?

A recent email from Tiffany,

I am super excited to try your product on my kitchen cabinets.  As a novice DIY’er I have been intimidated about tackling this project but the video makes it look so easy so I am ready to give this a try.  However, I have no idea how much and which products to order.  What do I do next?

Well,  lets start with what look you are going for.  Do you have a specific color in mind?  Caromal Colours textured basecoats come in 11 colors –

Do you want a single color finish, or are you interested in a multi-color barnworn finish, similar to these?

If your interest lies in a single color finish, then we’d have to determine how much product you require, then you’d order the Caromal Colours Textured Basecoat (of your color choice) and some Caromal Colours Toner.    If a multi-color finish is your desire, then you’d be purchasing 2 Textured Basecoat colors as well as some Caromal Colours Chipping Creme and Toner.

Regarding how much product to purchase, how many cabinets are you looking at refinishing?  If you have photos, and send them my way, I can give you a more accurate estimate of product needs.

Lastly, back to your finish –    what LOOK do you desire?

More primitive?

or smoother with less texture?

I have several posts that you can read regarding method of application:

Head to my store below (click icon) and be sure to use my code, PattyH in the coupon code area.   It will save you $2 off shipping,  or if you’re order is $75 or more use my PattyH5 for $5 off shipping.
