Nicole’s Inherited Table Gets Caromal’d…

This one made my heart swell 🙂

Hi Patty,
You don’t know me, but I’ve visited your blog often and watched your how-to videos.  I thought I’d share my project with you and say THANK YOU for your “fabulous” blog!!  I’m recommending your blog and Caromal Coloursto all of my friends!  LOVE IT!
Thanks again,
Nicole Brown

Here’s my blog entry on my table project:

Nicole used the Caromal Colours Textured Basecoats to create a barnworn finish – Putty color first

followed by Chipping Creme

followed by Wisteria

Sanded to distress, then topped with the magical Toner

AWESOME!!!!!   Head to Nicole’s post for her finishing story

… yes of course you can post pictures. You can copy whatever you like! You can even quote me. You honestly helped me so much! In fact, mid-way through my project I had painted the final coat on the table-top and I was very unhappy with how it looked. It had too many overlaps and looked like a pattern of paint squares. I tried to fix it by sanding…but I couldn’t help but start over. I actually watched another blogger’s video…she mentioned some tips that you gave her that helped me solve my problem with confidence. I re-did it and I was much happier.

Nicole, this table has got to be loving its makeover!

  1. Patty, my table IS loving it’s makeover! I’ve had so many wonderful comments and I’ve referred a large handful of people to your site. I have more projects stewing in my brain, and one day I’ll get around to completing them. Thanks again, and keep up the good work!! ~n
