Another How To Video! Painting With Caromal Colours Textured Basecoats…

I have been telling myself forever now, that I MUST get a video made showing how easy it is to paint a smoother finish with the Caromal Colours Textured Basecoats – paints from their Country Living line.

I love them…

they’re like painting with whippy peanut butter…

that makes paint finishes like this easy peasy – just stipple, light sand, some toner,  and voila a leather look –

or layer two colors with some chipping creme in between..

Did you know these basecoats work FABULOUS with CeCe paint over top as well?  No chipping creme required!

Though these paints are thicker, they can easily be brushed out thin to create a lovely smoother finish

I should remind you the most important –  no sanding, no stripping, no priming, and no smell, these paints are water based –

a little more rustic, a little less refined… primitive, country chic, pottery barn…  a lotta beautiful…

the most popular choice – Parchment or Wisteria base with a toner or glaze over top

want to WATCH and see how easy it is

to get a smoother finish like this?

simple – watch my youtube video!  whoo hooo – thank you Mindy!
