Photos Of Customers Painted Creations…

This post comes  because I need to clean up my files!!!     AArrghh…   I need to stop complaining, right?

We have a before server that my client Kathy found

You could get this look using American Paint Liberty, or Dollar Bill-

A bench, no before (typical brown)  but a great refinish -Caromal Textured Basecoat Parchment with Toner ,   light and natural

Lisa shares,

Just wanted to send you some pictures of 2 projects I have finished using the Caromal Colours basecoat.

This  piece was a secretary desk. I got if from a woman who was moving and did not have room to keep it. Her father had built the desk by hand for her. It had been stained but had turned kind of an orange color . I used the parchment as the first layer and then the putty over that.  I added a stencil in black.

The small table is a dark wood – (made by St Johns Table Co. in Cadillac,MI!) but the tabletop was not in the best of shape. The edge of the table is carved and I really wanted that to show up so I used only the parchment on it. I sold it at a Christmas Bazaar this past weekend that was held at our church. I could have sold it several times over! It’s so tempting to keep some of these pieces but I guess I would run out of room eventually!

Thank you so much for all of your inspiration and ideas! I cannot tell you how many times I turn to your site for advice and ideas. God has given you an amazing talent – we are all blessed by that!

YAY,  how cool is that!!!  Thank you Lisa!

  1. Hi Patty, I love all of your amazing ideas. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I live in Avon Lake, OH and am looking forward to give my kitchen a facelift. We built our home about 20 years ago, and it definitely needs to be redone but are unwilling to purchase new cabinets for my kitchen because of the downturn in the housing market. Looking so forward to a road trip to visit your new store. Sincerely, Carol Marshall
