You Know It’s Sunday… ONE A Worship Collective

WE BELIEVE –  a new album I just stumbled upon

phpThumb_generated_thumbnailjpg

This is who they are, in case you’re wondering 🙂

Songwriters and worship leaders spanning several states joined together as One: A Worship Collective, for the recording of We Believe, including Clayton Brooks (The Oaks Fellowship, Red Oak, TX), Ryan Williams (River Valley Church, Minneapolis, MN), Kurtis Parks (National Community Church, Washington, D.C.), Elmer Cañas Jr. (Calvary Church, Irving, TX), Micah Massey (Free Chapel, Gainesville, GA) and Texas-based worship leader Christine D’Clario.

Try it and see if you like it –  I did so much I’m in the process of downloading the album off Itunes as I type!

Have a FABULOUS week!

You Know, It’s Sunday – Lamb of God Tenth Avenue North

Tenth Avenue North came out with a new album a few weeks ago called The Struggle.   I heard a preview of the album on KLOVE one night and couldn’t wait for the album to debut so I could download it off Itunes.

This beautiful Sunday I am sharing their song  Lamb of God –  3:39 into this song, is my favorite, but take 4 minutes and listen to the whole thing

You Know, It’s Sunday…Come To Jesus

Heard this song today at church –   Come to Jesus by Josh Blakesley.    I like that the song is short and the message is simple

Let go your ev’ry fear.
There is only mercy here.

Come to Jesus,
hope that frees us,
life that breathes in us.
Come to Jesus,
and believe that he is love.

I  couldn’t find Josh’s version on youtube,  but found this neat sight,

where you can find all kinds of downloadable christian music  – my song was $1.29

Come to Jesus

People of the God of ages,
welcome to your brand new day.
Leave the world and all its trappings,
come into amazing grace.
Let go your ev’ry fear.
There is only mercy here.

Come to Jesus,
hope that frees us,
life that breathes in us.
Come to Jesus,
and believe that he is love.
Oh, come.

All who walk alone in shadow,
all who stand with faith assured,
those who follow with abandon,
those who long for something more,
these are the gifts we bring,
our lives, the offering.

Welcome pauper, rich man, leper,
hungry exiled, joyful, poor,
come you pris’ner, free man, sinner,
come to the Lord.
Come to the Lord.

You Know, It’s Sunday… You Lift Me Up

Like belting this song out on the radio –

You lift me up when I am weak….

Lift Me Up, by the Afters   –   their video is very powerful –  our faith gives us strength..    AMEN!

I got an update from Sadie’s mom –  not a whole lot of change … but she did say,

We know that God can heal her and that she is in His hands. Hundreds of you are also praying…family, churches, friends, even strangers. That gives us such peace and assurance.Continue to pray for wisdom for the docs, rest for us, care for the girls, and mostly healing for our precious tiny girl!!Love to all  Shannon
